THE FIRST YEAR ORCHESTRA

Suitable for children who have been learning for about a year. Parts for a standard orchestra. Recorders can be used with/instead of flutes & oboes.Bassoon/trombone are covered by the cello/bass part. Horns/viola are covered by clarinet. Violins all play the same part. Percussion is optional. The score includes an optional piano part to support smaller groups or unbalanced combinations. We can supply a set of 32 parts ( 2 of each wind & percussion, 10 violin, 2 viola, & 4 cello/bass) or you can order a set more suited to your resources.
